Installed July 1989: This photo was taken just after installation. The product can be viewed in its entirety (4 feet tall). Compare it to the other photos.

June 2004: When compared with the original installation photo, it becomes obvious that only about the top quarter (approx. 12 inches) of the Beach Prisms is still showing. The bottom three quarters is buried under accreted sand.

June 2004: Also note on the Lane Engineering Study how little the Beach Prisms have moved from their original placement, even after Hurricane Isabel.
